Tired of not having a way to attach a tow strap to the front of your Cherokee without adding an expensive bumper?  HiCountry Offroad has the solution for you.  These brackets mount using existing holes in the frame where the front sway bar is attached along with the lower two power steering bolts and the large through frame hole and do NOT require removal of the front bumper.  The brackets accommodate standard tow hooks or HiCountry Offroad Products D-Ring Mounts and can usually be installed in less than an hour with common hand tools and a drill.  Some modification or removal of the lower plastic valance is required.

With these D-Ring Shackle mounts you can now use a standard 3/4" D-Ring Shackle with the XJ Tow Hook Mounts.  D-Ring shackles are a safer way to attached recovery straps and winch cables to your vehicle for recovery.  By providing a secure mounting point there are fewer worries about the recovery strap becoming loose from the vehicle during recovery.  You will also only need one set of hands during recovery as no one will have to hold the strap or hook onto the tow hook during tensioning of the cable.

These mounts will fit any bumper or tow hook bracket that accepts a standard tow hook using 1/2" Bolts with a 1 1/2" spacing.
